			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://srw.id.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Screenshot_pooltemp.png"><img class="size-medium wp-image-63 alignleft" title="Pool Temperature App" src="http://srw.id.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Screenshot_pooltemp-180x300.png" alt="" width="180" height="300" /></a>I got all inspired after the AWS Summit this week just gone.  I&#8217;ve updated my pool temperature setup such that the current temperature is now dumped into an AWS SimpleDB and have written a basic <a title="Pool Temperature App" href="http://ws.srw.id.au/android/PoolTemperature-v1.1.apk">Android App</a> that will read and display the temperature.</p>
<p>The next step will be to add a widget, but for now this does the trick nicely.</p>
<p>Download the app <a href="http://ws.srw.id.au/android/PoolTemperature-v1.1.apk">here</a> if you want to take a look, of course it&#8217;s not going to be that useful to that many people &#8211; which is why I haven&#8217;t put it into the Play Store.</p>
<p>ps. Australia is heading into winter, thus the chill.</p>
